3 punchy, easy-to-follow Indian BBQ recipes using your BIG BANG! Indian Masala Kit

🍗 1. Tikka Masala Chicken Skewers

Spicy, smoky, and straight-up addictive.

You’ll need:

  • 500g boneless chicken thighs, cubed

  • 150g Greek yogurt

  • 1 tbsp BIG BANG! Tikka Masala

  • Juice of ½ lemon

  • 1 tbsp oil

  • ½ tsp salt

How to make it:

  1. Mix yogurt, lemon juice, oil, salt, and Tikka Masala in a bowl.

  2. Add chicken and coat well. Marinate for at least 1 hour (overnight = 🔥).

  3. Thread onto skewers. Grill over medium-high heat for 12–15 mins, flipping once charred.

  4. Serve with red onion, coriander, and mint yogurt.

👉 Tip: Soak wooden skewers in water first so they don’t burn.


🌽 2. Madras Masala Grilled Corn

Buttery. Tangy. Just the right kick.

You’ll need:

  • 4 fresh corn cobs

  • 2 tbsp butter or ghee, melted

  • 1 tsp BIG BANG! Madras Curry Powder

  • Juice of 1 lime

  • Pinch of salt

How to make it:

  1. Grill corn cobs over a hot BBQ, turning until slightly charred.

  2. Mix butter, Madras blend, salt, and lime juice.

  3. Brush generously over the hot corn.

  4. Finish with chilli flakes or fresh coriander if you like extra zing.

👉 Tip: This makes a banging side with grilled halloumi or paneer too.


🧀 3. Tandoori Paneer Burgers

Crispy on the edges. Melty inside. Total showstopper.

You’ll need:

  • 250g paneer, cut into thick slabs

  • 3 tbsp Greek yogurt

  • 1 tbsp BIG BANG! Tandoori Masala (or mix of Garam + Tikka)

  • ½ tsp salt

  • Juice of ½ lemon

  • 4 burger buns

  • Lettuce, red onion, mint chutney, yogurt

How to make it:

  1. Mix yogurt, lemon, spices, and salt. Add paneer and coat well.

  2. Let it marinate 30 mins or more.

  3. Grill the paneer until crisp and golden on both sides.

  4. Toast buns. Build burgers with paneer, chutneys, onions, and lettuce.

👉 Tip: Want extra heat? Add a dash of fresh green chilli to your yogurt.
