Mexican Cheesy Birria Tacos

Ingredients:

For the Birria:

  • 2-3 lbs beef chuck roast
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4-5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 packet Big Bang Spices Taco Seasoning
  • 4 cups beef broth

For the Tacos:

  • Corn tortillas
  • Shredded birria meat
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Diced onions
  • Lime wedges
  • Shredded cheese (Oaxaca or Monterey Jack)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Birria:

    • Combine beef, onion, garlic, and taco seasoning in a pot.
    • Add beef broth, cook 6-8 hours until tender.
    • Shred meat in the flavorful broth.
  2. Assemble Tacos:

    • Heat tortillas, add birria meat.
    • Top with cheese, cilantro, onions.
    • Serve with lime wedges.
  3. Optional Quesadilla Topping:

    • Make cheesy quesadilla toppings with birria meat.
  4. Enjoy:

    • Serve tacos with optional quesadilla topping.
